Group of MPs joins calls against deportation of Syrian refugee

Ljubljana, 13 November - A group of MPs, including from all three coalition parties, joined on Monday an initiative against the deportation of a Syrian refugee to Croatia. They described 46-year-old Ahmad Shamieh as one of the best examples of refugee integration in Slovenia and urged the Interior Ministry to cancel the deportation, scheduled for Tuesday.
