Several jurists protest against parliament manoeuvrer on private schools funding

Ljubljana, 23 November - Several acclaimed jurists have rejected as unacceptable parliament's efforts to change the Constitution so as to bypass the ruling ordering that state funding of private primaries be put on a par with funding for public schools. They said in a joint statement that the efforts meant abuse of the "essence of constitutional democracy".
