Govt facing strike wave, says demands unfair

Ljubljana, 7 December - Having failed to find common ground on fixing pay disparities that stem from past changes to the public sector pay system and were exacerbated by austerity measures, the government and roughly half of the sector's trade unions are facing a clash that is expected to culminate in a strike announced for mid-January.
