Speaker regrets US Jerusalem move, Left wants Slovenia to recognise Palestine

Ljubljana, 7 December - Speaker Milan Brglez regrets US President Donald Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Brglez said on Thursday he was concerned the move will put in jeopardy the Middle Easter Peace Process. The opposition Left meanwhile demanded that Slovenia send a note of protest to the US and recognise Palestine.
