Church awarded EUR 17.4m in denationalisation suit

Ljubljana, 10 January - The Ljubljana Archdiocese has been awarded EUR 17.4m in damages in a retrial over protracted denationalisation procedures for forests in Mozirje and Pokljuka. The Farmland and Forest Fund, which still has to pay a total of EUR 20m to the Church in the case, is still considering whether to appeal.
