MPs overwhelmingly move to protect debtors in forfeiture

Ljubljana, 13 February - The National Assembly has passed legislative changes that prevent asset forfeiture disproportionate to the amount of debt. The amendments that come in response to a 2010 court-ordered sale of a Slovenian citizen's home over a minor debt received across-the-board support, but some concerns were voiced during the debate.
