Committee endorses pared down version of bill on ex-Yugoslav minorities

Ljubljana, 20 April - The parliamentary Culture Committee endorsed on Friday a bill on cultural rights of minorities from the former Yugoslavia, but the legislation was significantly scaled back from the original proposal and even this version is unlikely to pass a plenary vote given widespread opposition from both sides of the isle.
