Public sector unions and govt far apart in starting proposals
Ljubljana, 23 October - Public sector trade unions and government negotiators made little progress as they resumed pay talks on Tuesday, agreeing to meet again on Friday. The unions, several of which are threatening with strikes, were presented with a proposal, but rejected it, highlighting it scrapped plans for a pay increase for the poorest paid civil servants.
