MPs expected to preserve raised welfare allowance
Ljubljana, 9 November - The National Assembly is expected to confirm today amendments to the social benefits act that keep the basic welfare allowance at EUR 393 after 1 January 2019. The changes extend what was conceived as a temporary raise when adopted in April. MPs will moreover debate Slovenia's poor record EU funds drawing.
