PM expresses support to idea of raising minimum wage

Ljubljana, 19 November - Prime Minister Marjan Šarec told MPs during questions time in parliament on Monday that he agreed that minimum wage should be raised. "I think every Slovenian citizen agrees that minimum wage is too low," Šarec said, adding that he wanted a consensus on the raise to be reached among social partners.
