Report: HSE mulling importing coal for Šoštanj power plant
Velenje/Šoštanj, 8 December - The power utility HSE, which owns the country's sole coal mine in Velenje, is considering importing coal from abroad to enable full operation of its coal-fired power plant in Šoštanj (TEŠ), the newspaper Večer reports on Saturday. The coal mine Premogovnik Velenje is to be closed by 2030.
