Koper city council rejects ex mayor's demand for vote recount
Koper, 22 December - The newly elected Koper city council rejected at its maiden session on Friday a demand by former Mayor Boris Popović for a full recount of the 2 December mayoral runoff votes. Popović was told to turn to the Administrative Court and Aleš Bržan was confirmed as the new mayor.
