Parties prefer relative over absolute preferential vote

Ljubljana, 16 May - The meeting of parliamentary parties on changes to electoral legislation hosted by President Borut Pahor on Thursday eliminated the option of introducing an absolute preferential vote. The parties prefer a relative preferential vote and legislative changes to that effect will expectedly be ready by the end of June.
