Ambassador to EU Lenarčič unofficially picked as commissioner candidate

Brdo pri Kranju, 17 July - Prime Minister Marjan Šarec is expected to put forward Janez Lenarčič, Slovenia's permanent representative to the EU, as the country's European commissioner candidate. The government Communication Office said Šarec would make an announcement on the topic at 1pm today.
