Šarec picks ambassador to EU for commissioner, coalition not happy
Ljubljana, 17 July - PM Marjan Šarec put forward Janez Lenarčič, Slovenia's permanent representative to the EU, as candidate for European commissioner on Wednesday. The government is expected to discuss the nomination tomorrow but it is unclear what will happen, as the Social Democrats (SD) were very critical of the decision, while other partners refuse to comment.
