MEPs disagree over the value of Lenarčič's portfolio

Strasbourg, 10 September - The news that Slovenia's EU commissioner nominee, Janez Lenarčič, has been designated to lead the crisis management portfolio has invited mixed reactions from Slovenia's eight MEPs. Some members of the EPP find the portfolio is not one of the key ones, being one of the last announced by Commission president-elect Ursula von der Leyen.
