Kangler inquiry wants Maribor police investigated, OECD worried

Ljubljana, 21 October - Ex-Maribor Mayor Franc Kangler described for a parliamentary inquiry on Monday the extensive criminal prosecution against him as a plot unthinkable in a law-ruled country and parliamentary oversight of the Maribor police force was proposed due to his claims. The concept of the inquiry meanwhile continues to raise waves, including at the OECD.
