Traditional breakfast kick-starts Slovenian Food Day

Ljubljana, 15 November - A traditional Slovenian breakfast for school children around the country once again ushered in Slovenian Food Day, observed on the third Friday in November each year. More than 270,000 children in kindergartens and primary school were served bread with honey and butter, along with milk and a locally grown apple.
