MPs propose scrapping electoral districts

Ljubljana, 31 January - A group of MPs filed in parliamentary procedure on Friday amendments to the National Assembly election act that would abolish electoral districts and introduce a relative preferential vote. The proposed changes come after the Constitutional Court declared the size of electoral districts for general election unconstitutional at the end of 2018.
