Govt seeks to streamline procedure to ban certain referenda

Ljubljana, 1 April - The government has adopted an amendment to the referendum act that prescribes the National Assembly's course of action in case of a referendum initiative challenging a law that cannot be challenged under the constitution, which would include laws imposing measures designed to curb the Covid-19 epidemic.
