No Slovenian diplomat among 30 new EU delegation heads
Brussels/Ljubljana, 21 June - Slovenia had four diplomats vying for EU delegation heads around the world within the bloc's diplomatic service, but none has managed to get nominated. The Foreign Ministry blames it on the previous government's failure to lobby for the candidates.

Josep Borrell, the EU's high representatives for foreign affairs, made 30 nominations for the European External Action Service, on 16 June.
