Sunday closure of shops amended slightly by committee, support seems secured

Ljubljana, 15 July - The parliamentary Economy Committee sent on Wednesday the proposal to permanently close most shops Sundays into Thursday's second reading. It expanded the list of exemptions but not to the extent proposed by the coalition Democrats (SDS) and Modern Centre Party (SMC). The Left's Luka Mesec has announced the ban has sufficient support in parliament.
