Associations of care homes, pensioners critical of long-term care bill
Ljubljana, 24 September - Care home and pensioner representatives have welcomed the overdue bill on long-term care but warned of a number of shortcomings, criticising it as unclearly written and opening the door to conflicting interpretations. The bill is also seen as excluding many elderly from long-term care and dismantling the public network of care homes.
