Croatia earthquake causes scare but no major damage in Slovenia

Ljubljana/Maribor, 29 December - Only minor damage to buildings has been reported by Slovenia's Civil Protection and Disaster Relief Administration as today's powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake hitting Croatia was also felt in Slovenia, most strongly in the east. The quake, assessed as not exceeding magnitude 5 here, has also not damaged critical infrastructure.
