Slovenian programme at ORF in Carinthia celebrates 75 years
Klagenfurt/Ljubljana, 15 January - It has been 75 years since the Austrian broadcaster ORF started airing Slovenian programme in Austria's Carinthia. The programme was initiated by the British occupying forces, which aired the first Slovenian radio show on 6 January 1946, a German-Slovenian culture event in Ferlach at which Slovenian texts were recited by Helmut Hartman.
