MPs fail to overturn veto on tonnage tax act changes

Ljubljana, 27 January - The lower chamber of parliament failed to overturn in Wednesday's re-vote the veto the upper chamber imposed on changes to the tonnage tax act. The legislative motion was aimed at extending by another ten years a special regulation under which shipping companies pay an alternative, lower form of corporate income tax.
