New police commissioner downplays fears of political interference

Ljubljana, 29 January - New Police Commissioner Anton Olaj, a retired police officer who served as an Interior Ministry state secretary between last June and yesterday, downplayed fears that politics could interfere in the police work. He said the police's guiding principles were legality and integrity, as he addressed the press in Ljubljana on Friday.
