Only one out of 16 suspected samples confirmed to match UK strain

Ljubljana, 9 February - Only one of a total of 877 positive coronavirus swab samples screened for the highly virulent UK strain in January has been confirmed through genome sequencing to fully match the new variant, out of 16 initially suspected, following three cases confirmed earlier.
