Coronavirus restrictions stepped up in coastal region

Koper, 27 February - Tighter coronavirus restrictions kicked in in the coastal Obalno-Kraška region today after the epidemiological situation in the south-west worsened. Gatherings are banned and travel between the region and the rest of Slovenia is restricted to work- and health-related reasons. Schools and shops up to 400 square metres meanwhile remain open.

The coastal region slips back into tier red.
