Rising trend persists, 1,335 new coronavirus cases reported

Ljubljana, 1 April - Out of 5,622 PCR tests conducted on Wednesday 1,335 returned positive for a positivity rate of 23.7%, up significantly from the day before. Another seven Covid-19 patients died as hospitalisations rose, show fresh government data. The 7-day average of new daily cases exceeded 1,000 for the first time since mid-February.
