Referendum initiators celebrate resounding victory

Ljubljana, 11 July - A number of NGOs that had initiated the referendum on the new waters act celebrated a sweeping victory on Sunday as voters rejected the legislation in the highest referendum turnout since 2007. The umbrella movement of the NGOs believes that the votes against the law have been based on experts' opinions and NGOs' work.
