Morning turnout in referendum on new waters act at 15.15%

Ljubljana, 11 July - A total of 257,328 Slovenians or 15.15% of the voters cast their ballots in the referendum on changes to the waters act by 11am on Sunday, figures from the National Electoral Commission show. The turnout is higher than the rate recorded until 11am in the 2015 referendum on marriage equality, which is so far the only one where the quorum was met.
