Slovenia to bid for non-permanent seat on UN Security Council
Ljubljana, 9 December - Slovenia will formally announce today in New York its candidacy for a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2024-2025 period, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday. Elections in the General Assembly will be held in June 2023. The country was a non-permanent member of the Security Council before, in 1998-1999.
