Jobless total up 2.8% in January, down 26% over year before

Ljubljana, 3 February - Slovenia's jobless total rose by 2.8% in January when 67,834 persons were registered as unemployed, a seasonal increase that the Employment Service says is expected due to the expiry of fixed-term contracts. Compared to the year before, the figure declined by 25.9%.
