Drought's impact on crops calls for emergency legislation

Ljubljana, 1 August - While the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) is still collecting data on the damage caused by drought, it is already clear it will exceed the limit set for eligibility for state aid following natural disasters. KGZS head Roman Žveglič says the situation is worse than in 2017, when damage was estimated at EUR 65 million.
