Damage after mining accident in Velenje assessed at EUR 15m

Ljubljana, 26 September - Preliminary assessments put the damage after July's accident at the Velenje coal mine, the only active coal mine in the country, at some EUR 15 million, Janez Rošer, CEO of the mine operator Premogovnik Velenje, told the weekly Reporter, noting the mine should be repaired quickly due to pressure for higher production in the face of energy crisis.
