Opinions remain divided on legalisation of gay marriage, adoptions

Ljubljana, 30 September - MPs debated on Friday amendments to the family code that will legalise gay marriage and adoptions in line with a watershed decision by the Constitutional Court. Before the vote on Tuesday, the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) said they will vote against the coalition-backed proposal, and the Democrats (SDS) will not support it.
