Coalition does not see election outcome as defeat

Ljubljana, 24 October - Coalition candidate Milan Brglez did not make it to the run-off on Sunday, but senior coalition officials have downplayed the notion that this is a defeat, pointing instead to the ability of the Freedom Movement and Social Democrats (SD) to join forces and back a single candidate. Both parties are expected to back Nataša Pirc Musar in the run-off.
