Slovenia planning embassy in Algeria, gas talks stepped up

Ljubljana, 25 October - Prime Minister Robert Golob announced after a meeting with Algerian parliament speaker Ibrahim Boughali on Tuesday that Slovenia is planning to open an embassy in Algeria, presumably next year. The pair discussed mutual support in bids for UN Security Council membership and closer economic cooperation, the focus currently being on gas supply.
