Independence protagonist Pučnik remembered on death anniversary

Ljubljana, 11 January - Jože Pučnik, one of the main protagonists of Slovenia's democratisation and independence, was remembered 20 years after his death at a commemoration the opposition Democrats (SDS), successor to the party he used to lead, organised in Republic Square in Ljubljana. The event, at which his historic role was praised, was attended by some 150 people.
