Number of illegal crossings of border quadrupled in first quarter

Ljubljana, 20 April - Police recorded 8,133 illegal crossings of the border in the first three months of the year, which is more than four times more than in the same period last year, when 2,366 illegal crossings were recorded. Most migrants come from Afghanistan, Morocco, Russia and Cuba and they mostly enter the country in the south-east.
