Slovenia sends help to flood-stricken Italian region

Ajdovščina, 22 May - A civil protection and disaster relief unit set off from Ajdoviščina on Monday to help mitigate the damage caused by severe flooding in the Emilia-Romagna region, north-central Italy. Equipped with two high-capacity pumps, the 32-member team of experts will be in charge of flood control pumping.
