Panel on assisted suicide proposal indicates more debate needed

Ljubljana, 9 June - A discussion on a civil initiative-sponsored bill on assisted suicide underlined on Friday the divide between the bill's proponents and representatives of the medical community. While the former argued for patients' autonomy in a decision that is now in the hands of doctors, the latter see bill is seriously flawed.
