Warnings about covert violence on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

Ljubljana, 15 June - Marking World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on Thursday, Silver Thread, an association campaigning for dignified old age, called for zero tolerance towards discrimination against the elderly and all other forms of violence against this age group, not only overt but also covert. Awareness raising is key, said Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina.
