Ljubljana, 21 June - Catholic bishops celebrated a mass for the homeland in the Ljubljana cathedral on Wednesday ahead of Slovenia's Statehood Day, observed on 25 June. Touching on a very topical discussion among the Slovenian public, Andrej Saje, the bishop of Novo Mesto, was critical of a bill aiming to legalise assisted suicide, saying it undermined human dignity.
