Agriculture Act amended to allow for data collecting on food prices

Ljubljana, 6 July - The National Assembly passed on Thursday amendments to the Agriculture Act that create a legal basis for collecting data on the price, quantity and origin of food in the supply chain. The changes were proposed to ensure food security in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine.
