EU Parliament approves one extra MEP seat for Slovenia

Strasbourg, 13 September - Slovenia will have nine MEPs in the 2024-2029 legislative term, as the European Parliament endorsed on Wednesday a proposal to allocate 15 additional seats, including an extra one to Slovenia. All of the existing eight Slovenian MEPs are currently willing to run in next year's EU election or at least pondering this idea.
