MPs pass changes to Animal Protection Act

Ljubljana, 20 September - The National Assembly passed on Wednesday changes to the Animal Protection Act, including several contentious provision. While the coalition believes the changes bring much-needed solutions to fight animal abuse, the opposition has pointed to numerous issues raised, among others, by farmers, veterinarians and the parliament's legal services.
