Slovenia gets observer status in UN Security Council

New York, 1 October - Slovenia became an observer in the UN Security Council on 1 October after it was elected a non-permanent member for the 2024-2025 period in June. Slovenian diplomats will be able to attend sessions of the most important UN body as part of preparations for the country's non-permanent membership that will start on 1 January 2024.
