MPs pass two amended laws in revote, farmers unhappy
Ljubljana, 18 October - The National Assembly passed amendments to the Animal Protection Act and the law governing the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) in a revote on Wednesday after the bills were vetoed by the upper chamber. Unhappy with the new rules, farmers have announced a constitutional challenge to the amended animal protection law.
